Gucci Bamboo Leather Holdall
As far as the bags from the Fall-Winter 2011 Mens Gucci collection are concerned, extreme is perhaps the best word to describe it. Why? As far as the choices for the guys go, they would have to choose from either the super-slim foldable clutch/briefcase or the gigantic holdall (shown above), the former’s width so thin a Smurf wouldn’t fit, the latter so huge the entire Smurf village could go in. But I jest.
As big bulky (it does measure 28 cm by 19 cm by 19 cm) as the Gucci Bamboo Leather Holdall is, it isn’t clumsy or awkward. Instead, it’s rather handsome, with its vintage fittings including the old-school clasp lock, the rounded leather tag and of course, the Gucci trademark, the handle that’s made out of bamboo.
