Givenchy F/W11 Antigona
One of the most underrated bags from Givenchy in my personal opinion, the Givenchy Antigona Duffel is one beauty no one should do without. And while it does face the uphill task of competing with the other beauties from the brand including the Nightingale, the Pandora and the Obsedia, there’s no denying that it is unique enough to shine on its own.
Available in two different sizes, it gets tweaked ever so slowly with each season, and the ones shown in this post from the F/W11 collection are no different. Large and roomy, they feature a two-tone finish that can be best described as futuristic. Almost Tron-like.
Measuring 40.5 cm by 30.5 cm for the larger size and 33 cm by 28 cm for the one in medium, the Antigona is roomy and functional, a great bag that can be used as a work bag (the smaller one would be perfect) or as a carry-on bag.
Check them out in person at Givenchy’s boutique at Paragon, or head online and check out the huge selection available at Barneys with prices starting at USD1940 for the ones in regular calfskin.
Perfect for the ladies, I’m not sure if a guy could pull it off, given it’s extremely rounded shape and bulbous curves. What do you think?

It’s a bag to die for. It’s classic, sophisticated and glamourous. I almost bought it the other day. They told me that price will go up a bit in 2012. (FB)
Such a versatile bag. The leather panels are just stunning!
Hello, I love your blog. I am stopping by singapore in Dec and am dying for the black Antigona bag. Just wondering if you know how much is it in Singapore? I can get it from Italy for $1200 euro.
Get it in Italy my dear, much cheaper there.
Thank you.. I am getting it. *Muah*
