Fall-Winter 2011 Uniqlo +J
It is said that all good things must come to an end, and it seems to be no different with the ongoing +J collaboration that will see its last instalment with the launch of the F/W11 collection this Friday.
Yes folks, the F/W11 Uniqlo +J collection will officially be launched on Friday (9 September 2011) at Uniqlo 313 Somerset, and as far as I’m aware, there will be no preview or launch event. It’s simply, here’s the collection, it’s the last one, enjoy. Literally.
Thankfully, there will be enough pieces to please the most hardcore fans, with prices maxing out at SGD299 for the mens layered coat (shown above), as well as the wool pea coat in dark green that I’m eyeing personally.
As far as the pieces for the ladies are concerned, they include the wool down short parka (shown above) that will retail for SGD249.90, which isn’t half bad if you want to look like a shapeless puff. But I jest.
Still, it is going to be a passing that will be bittersweet as far as I’m concerned, having bought my very first +J blazer that I made a reader-turned-friend lug back all way from Tokyo. And because this is going to be the last instalment (it really better be or I’ll be pretty cross), I’ll probably get something as well, if just to complete the circle.
