Loewe Amazona44
A bag that’s eluded my personal collection for the longest time, the Loewe Amazona44 is the boys version of the regular Amazona, a larger version that’s meant for use as a travel duffel for those short weekend jaunts.
Also great as a hand-carry piece, it is available in luxurious materials like suede and calfskin. Honestly, as far as mens bags go, this particular bag is as handsome as it gets.
Measuring 44 cm by 28.5 cm, it measures 19 cm wide, a good size for at least 2 changes of clothes and even a pair of shoes. Besides the gold and brown combo in suede and calfskin (as seen in the F/W11 ad campaign), it also as comes in black calfskin. There’s a third variation in black suede and calfskin as well, and all 3 bags retail for EUR1600 each, a small price to pay for such an iconic bag.
Not available in Singapore, your best bet is to check them out in Hong Kong where they sell for about HKD22,000 each.
If, however, you want to go all out and get F/W11′s stunning offering, check out the Loewe Amazona44 in brown suede, finished off with exotic croc handles and key bell. Truly a sight for sore eyes.
