Fall-Winter 2011 Burberry Ad Campaign: July
Another month, another new campaign for Burberry, which celebrates the 31 days of July with models Cara Delevingne, Edie Campbell, Milly Simmonds and Callum Turner. Shot by none other than Mario Testino, this campaign is the second in the series of 7 that will be launched at the beginning of each month till December 2011.
Looking splendid in their coats and trenches from the F/W11 collection, a key accessory from the line-up includes the luxurious flap cap in jaguar mink fur. Priced at SGD2795, the cap comes in mottled black on white, and two more in all black and all white.
The other ‘star’ of the campaign (besides the models, that is), is the clutch from Burberry Prorsum that comes in different variations including one in Haymarket check (SGD1650), another in Haymarket check with alligator trim (SGD10,495), and my personal favourites: the ones in grainy leather shown here.
Priced at SGD1995 each, the clutch that measures 30 cm across comes complete with oversized tassels, serrated leather and velvet trim and a long shoulder sling in case you want to wear it across the body.
If I had to pick just one from the lot, it would be the one in Tabacco (third clutch from top), a sumptuous confection of colours just perfect for F/W11.
