The Cambridge Satchel Company Fluorescent Satchel
If you’ve been following me closely on Twitter yesterday you would already know that The Cambridge Satchel Company Fluorescent Satchel has officially launched on Doorstep Luxury for pre-orders. Available in 4 brilliant hues (Fluorescent Green, Fluorescent Orange, Fluorescent Pink and Fluorescent Yellow), this is also the first time you’ll be able to order them from an online retailer based in Singapore.
Already retailing at uber-cool Dover Street Market in London, you can now order them for yourself in the comfort of your own home. Just head to Doorstep Luxury’s Facebook Shop page and click away.
Two things to note though. Firstly, the TCSC satchels are only available in limited quantities, so once the orders are filled, DSL will stop the pre-orders. Secondly, besides being available in 4 different colours, they will come in 4 different sizes and are priced at SGD220, SGD230, SGD240 and SGD250 for the 11″, 13″, 14″ and 15″ sizes respectively.
Delivery will take up to 6 weeks (the price includes free shipping), and if you order online now you’ll get another 5% off.
A word of advice though. The 11″ is really tiny, but looks really good slung across the body for weekend jaunts. If you want something more substantial go for the larger sizes. Boys, if you’re wondering what colours to go for, here’s a suggestion. Check out the Fluorescent Green or Fluorescent Orange in sizes 14″ or 15″. Go!

Tough one, Ada. The satchels are technically untreated, so they are prone to water marks.
I would have dabbed the raindrops off right when it happened, and left it in the sun to dry it out.

Yes, Kate Spade was first inspired by TCSC. And TCSC is much more affordable, so it really depends on your preferences.
I want one in hot pink, right now. I wonder if these will be limited edition or if they’ll make them for some time?

Hi BB, international shipping is not free for this bag. I preordered the orange bag and there was a $20 shipping fee for shipping to Australia. The staff from Doorstep luxury explained that due to the bulky nature and low cost of the bag, it is not economical for them if they do not charge for international shipping.
Yes, shipping is SGD20 for international orders below SGD300.

hi, i ordered directly from cambridge satchel company. right after i made payment to paypal, i received an email indicating payment is received and cambridge satchel emailed me with the order number. when i clicked on return to the e-store, they said my order was not successful. i tried calling and emailing them immediately – number is engaged. emails not returned. now, i’m worried sick.
do advice if you know what to do. much appreciated.
