Pre-Fall 2011 Womens Louis Vuitton

Having attended the Pre-Fall 2011 Louis Vuitton press presentation yesterday, I had the pleasure of checking out beautiful pieces for both men and women that will be launched in the coming months. Every collection features a very special range of bags, and this time it is no different.

Presenting the Louis Vuitton Monogram Art Deco Diva collection, which takes colour-blocking to a whole new level.

More than just a juxtaposition of colours, Louis Vuitton went one step further and used different materials (in different colours) to make up each bag. Swaths of canvas, along with embossed leathers and exotic skins, are used, the line consisting of a shoulder bag and totes in two different sizes.

Here’s one of the totes, a tri-coloured composition of rich warm hues accented with gold-tone hardware. Details I like include the gold-tone hardware and leather luggage tag, as well as the half-and-half hanging clochette. What do you think?

Other new pieces include the new Cosmetic Pouch, which I’m guessing is slightly larger than the current version available in boutiques. Besides being bigger, it will also come in different materials, including Monogram Multicolore (shown above in White and Black), as well as Monogram Vernis.

To round it off, there will also be a new Speedy. Officially known as the Louis Vuitton Monogram Speedy Bandouliere, it is basically your well-loved Speedy, but with the addition of the removable/adjustable shoulder strap. Exhale now. And follow the link to read the full post.
