Celebs And Bags #65 – Mulberry Small Heritage Bayswater Satchel & Nicole Ritchie
The bag is not due out for another 6 months so consider this an exclusive preview. From the Fall-Winter 2011 Womens Mulberry collection comes the Mulberry Small Heritage Bayswater Satchel, as seen slung over Nicole Ritchie’s shoulder at The Parker Hotel yesterday in Los Angeles.
Taking a break from Coachella festivities, invited guests including Alexa Chung, Gia Coppola and Eliza Doolittle hung around the hotel’s pool, indulged in the BBQ party and enjoyed the accessories, apparel and bags from the F/W11 collection.
Here’s the bag in question that she’s carrying, the Mulberry Small Heritage Bayswater Satchel (GBP855, SGD1949) which came about after a quick dip into the Mulberry archives. Resembling the Small Bayswater but with contrasting stud-closure straps and hanging tag in patent leather, the rest of the bag is made up of hard-wearing pebbled leather.
Besides Pheasant Green, the bag will also be available in Conker, as well as another variation in haircalf and ostrich skin in Deer Brown. Yes, the upcoming collection is all about the woodlands, which explains explains the curiously named colours. All three colour combinations will also come in the regularly-sized Heritage Bayswater Satchel, just perfect for F/W11.

The pheasant green one is to die for, but I just know it will be uber pricey. I have lots of Mulberries but with their regular price rises, I’ve had to curb my passion a little.
The shoulder strap makes the bayswater functional and much more versatile. But I don’t think the front straps are needed, its somewhat over-designed with it.
Love the size! Perfect for weekends and maxi dresses.. Now to wait for prices. Love.
