Fall-Winter 2011 Womens Chanel
Giant drawbridges on either side of the runway with the Chanel logo were lowered, kicking off the Fall-Winter 2011 Womens Chanel presentation, which I had the great honour of attending in Paris a few days back.
Admittedly, I’m still in a daze. It is not every day that mere mortals like me get to attend shows like Chanel in Paris, and between snapping away madly and taking it all in, I honestly do not remember much else. I do remember the round, little, quilted hand purses that were quite adorable, but I’ll save that for another post.

Held at the Grand Palais, Chanel shows are always visual spectacles and this time was no different. Mist flowed freely, with giant walls plastered with wallpaper evoking dark, mysterious forest scenery. Laid over the black gravel was a boardwalk made up of wooden planks, like a bridge between the 2 Chanel drawbridges.
I’ll be posting more updates on the collection proper, as well as putting up more snapshots on my Facebook fan page. And thanks again to Chanel Singapore for making my dreams come true.
