Bagaholicboy Reminisces #25 – Best Of February 2011
The single biggest thing to happen to me all February 2011 has got to be the announcement on the blog about my upcoming trip to London and Paris for Doorstep Luxury. If you’ve been living under a rock all this while, follow the link and have a look. All the details (as well as how you can win yourself DSL dollars and a gorgeous bag) are there.
I could go on and on, but I shan’t. Just follow me once my journey kicks off over at Doorstep Luxury’s Facebook fan page from 3 March 2011. But before that happens, here are some highlights for February 2011.
01. My updates for everything that caught my eye for F/W11, including those gorgeous clutches by Bottega Veneta, Jil Sander and Prada. And let’s not forget the mafia goddess from F/W11 Gucci.
02. From London Fashion Week, check out my posts on Burberry Prorsum, and Mulberry. And before that from New York City, Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler and Marc Jacobs.
03. Besides being my birthday month, February is also the month of love. If you’re still looking for gifts for the weeks ahead, do check out my gift guides for the boys, and the girls. Or have a look at Chanel’s drool worthy Valentine’s Day collection.
04. More Chanel, in the form of their iPad clutch, the classic Chanel WOC and some snapshots from the Spring-Summer 2011 Haute Couture Chanel collection.
05. A rather popular post for the month of February, have a look at the official colours from Balenciaga’s S/S11 collection.
06. Any month here is never complete without some Louis Vuitton. Check out the Louis Vuitton Monogram Impression Sac Weekend, the Louis Vuitton Articles de Voyage Denim Cabas, and for the ladies, the upcoming Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Evora GM.
07. More bags from S/S11 collections, including my great big love for all things Jil Sander, the Bally Redgrave, the Burberry Prorsum Patent Leather Crossbody, the Proenza Schouler Large Shopping Tote, and the Reed Krakoff Bridle Leather Tote.
08. On a budget and looking for gorgeous pieces that cost next to nothing? How about this gorgeous clutch by Quintessential? Or the Madewell Biker Bag that’s available at Shopbop for USD138?
09. Other interesting bits and bobs include Gucci’s new Fiat 500, those snazzy Proenza Schouler rope bracelets, the new Goldheart Ascenté collection that features emerald-shaped diamonds, and Elle Singapore’s Trends booklet which is pure fashion fun!
10. No month is complete either without my personal obsessions, and boy do I have obsessions! From the Valextra Leather iPad Case to the Maison Takuya iPhone4 Case, and the Christian Louboutin Rollerboy Men’s Flats, I’ve been holding out because I intend to shop till I drop in Paris.
That’s all folks (for now anyway) and I’ll see you guys in London and Paris!
