Reed Krakoff Bridle Leather Tote
I am really glad that there isn’t a Reed Krakoff store in Singapore, otherwise I know I surely won’t be able to resist the Reed Krakoff Bridle Leather Tote, a stunning example of a tote that’s both understated yet oh so elegant at the same time.
It doesn’t rely on monograms or flashy exotics. Instead Reed (who is also the creative director of Coach, by the way) chose to come up with something that’s both simple and functional, using differently coloured leathers to give it contrast. Retailing for GBP1055 (around SGD2165) on Net-A-Porter, it is not even that expensive given the fact that the tote is almost 39 cm across. And it is one of those rare pieces I consider unisex, something that will look good on both boys (well, some of the boys) and most girls.
Full leather, large and roomy, and priced much lower than other bags would cost in this category. Really, what’s not to love? Tempting, isn’t it?
