Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Evora GM
Here’s a quick look at one of the new bags that’s due out from Louis Vuitton in the coming months. Looking very much like one of the Monogram Empreinte bags, here’s the much anticipated Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Evora GM, a slightly pleated, coated canvas (with vachetta trim), wear-it-two-ways shoulder tote.
Besides the version in Damier Azur, you can also expect her twin in Damier Ebene, a godsend for those who don’t want to deal with the horrors of vachetta leather and prefer a darker-coloured bag. Available in two sizes, the GM (48 cm by 49 cm) and the MM (43 cm by 43 cm), they are tentatively priced at SGD3050 and SGD2770 respectively.

While I like this very much, especially the damier ebene one, but it doesn’t seem to justify the price tag?! Especially when you compare it with the Bloomsbury, Totally and Palermo…

Not too bad, but I don’t see that much invention as well…
To me it looks quite similar to the Siracusa, whereat I must admit that I like the Siracusa more because of its simplicity.
These huge leather pieces of the Evora, especially on the zipper, are not my cup of tea. Besides it’s delicate vachetta on the Azur one, as you already pointed out, BB… (FB)

So the MM is even bigger than Neverfull GM which is 39.5cm x32.5cm x20cm, according to the Japanese LV web. The trend now is all these dual-way bags/tote/satchels but I feel that this one is overpriced.

It’s listed on the Korean LV site now. MM size: 44cm x 44cm x 10cm. GM size: 48cm x 50cm x 14cm.
