Celebs And Bags #64 – Alexander Wang Daria & Amanda Seyfried
Besides Ryan Phillippe, Amanda Seyfried has another darling in her life, more specifically, the Alexander Wang Daria that’s high on my list of bags that every woman should own (or at least check out).
Imagine a Speedy, but with an additional shoulder strap. The main difference? No logos, or monogram prints, just a clean, almost minimalist pebbled leather bag. Wear it over the shoulder, or carry it in your hand; it is as versatile as it gets. It is also much lighter than her popular twin, the Rocco, which has rows of studs on the bottom of the bag.
Originally retailing for GBP655.32, you can now get it at 50% off, or GBP327.66 (around SGD672) at THE OUTNET. The only catch? You’ll have to wait till 8 February 2011 before the bag is launched for sale online (and only then will this link work), so don’t forget to log on then if you have to get it.
Another bag that will be on sale at THE OUTNET is the Alexander Wang Rocco Mini, which will retail for GBP744.68 (was GBP409.57), or around SGD840. For something that’s full leather, with full rows of studs and an additional shoulder strap (yes this one will come with), it is another bargain not to be missed!
Seriously, I can’t think of a better deal than this. SGD672 is what you’ll usually pay for a bag from say, Coach or Kate Spade, not Alexander Wang.

It is approximately 30 cm by 24 cm. Almost the same size as a Speedy30.

I bought a Daria duffle from The Outnet… but sent it right back.
It did not hold its shape the way you might imagine from looking at the image of Amanda Seyfried. The leather was stiff and the bottom wouldn’t sit right without a base shaper.
