Louis Vuitton Monogram Macassar Keepall45

Finally it’s mine! Having attended Louis Vuitton’s private event at Raffles Hotel Arcade yesterday, I was on a lookout for something new, but somehow or other my eyes kept trailing towards the lone Louis Vuitton Monogram Macassar Keepall45 that was perched on the highest shelf.

Yes, I already own the Mongram Canvas Keepall45, but in my mind that was really a non-issue. I’ve had that bag for years, it was in a totally different colour scheme, and having another Keepall simply meant I could rotate between the two whenever I wanted.

Besides, it was time to add something from the Monogram Macassar collection to my collection, and this would be a very apt addition. Retailing for SGD1960, there’s something about the silver hardware and black leather that was too alluring to resist. And I gave in.

The 7th Louis Vuitton bag in my collection, it’s definitely something that I’ll use when I head overseas next, or when I need to lug my MacBook Pro around town.

And just in case anyone’s wondering, the other 6 bags in my Louis Vuitton collection comprise the Damier Ebene Greenwich PM, the Damier Géant Canvas Attaquant, the Monogram Canvas Keepall45, the Monogram Mini Lin Initiales Keepall, the Monogram Mini Sac 48H Mary Kate in Khaki and last but not least, the Tobago Carryall in Red.
