Update – H&M + Lanvin Collection
The entire H&M + Lanvin collection has been released online, including a wide selection of pieces which can be viewed here on their Facebook fan page. Slated for release in the States on 20 November 2010, and then the rest of the world on 23 November 2010, Singapore will ‘thankfully’ be spared all the ensuing pandemonium.
Because as much as we would like to think that our tiny red dot is fashion-forward, we don’t have a single H&M anywhere on the island. Yet.
But that’s not the point of this post. In fact, I don’t even know why I am even doing this post, besides the fact that the video I posted here is pretty surreal and quite amusing.
‘I want Lanvin, not diamonds.’ Yup, surreal and amusing. Because what woman in her right mind will turn down diamonds for H&M?
And the two bags in the collection are hideous. There, I said it.

To my eternal shame that leopard bag BBoy hates I kind of love, if only in a tacky-tastic, off to Vegas kind of way. Yes, it’s the exact opposite of everything I love about Lanvin. Yes, I’d get one given half a chance (if the price is right). Yes, my family and friends would sneer.

I actually think H&M is really overrated…. but…. OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!

We were supposed to get H&M at ION Orchard, but somehow that didn’t materialize. So the closest is HK. zzz.
H&M is opening next year at Orchard Building so yes, it is time to rejoice!
