Given how Jeremy Scott’s previous Le Pilage pieces for Longchamp have always been whimsical and a tad crazy, I was actually pretty underwhelmed by his latest creation, the Longchamp Le Pliage ‘Tire’. Unlike previous releases like ‘Plague’ or ‘Bone’ that were raving-mad and fun, this one’s quite sedate, in my opinion.
Which really isn’t so bad. Simply because while the others were loud and really cool from a fashion point of view, I would never have had the guts to trot down Orchard Road with a pink Le Pliage covered in bones. Retailing for EUR190 (around SGD344 or so) at Colette now, the price isn’t that bad either.
If, however, tire prints aren’t your thing, check out this one Jeremy Scott made for Love magazine which is priced at just EUR150.
