According to the press release, it took Burberry 1 year to reach 1 million fans, 6 months to reach 2 million fans and just one more to reach 3 million.
And I think it certainly helps that Christopher Bailey himself is very active on the brand’s Facebook page, with short videos explaining his various collections and taking time out to answer some of his fans’ questions.
In other words, an achievement well-deserved.
Club21 will be opening their pop-up store at Como House in December with the theme Merry Happy Crazy Colour for X’mas. Besides loads of Play tees, you will also find many Comme des Garçons items including candles, fragrances, sneakers and a whole lot more. Besides the Mode Studs collection that I’m pretty psyched about, Goldheart also released the Mode Wire collection which comprises 4 different pieces in rose gold, white gold, or a combination of both with brilliant diamonds. Retailing from SGD1588 and up (usual prices start from SGD2848), these will also make great stocking stuffers this X’mas.
First announced yesterday on Sweden’s The Local, CEO of H&M Karl-Johan Persson said that come 2011 they will be opening their first South-East Asia store at Orchard Building, which currently houses California Fitness and is just beside Mandarin Gallery.

What’s your take on h&m coming to singapore? Some people aren’t exactly happy about this news. But I’m definitely all for it.
I can understand how it will no longer be ‘exclusive’ for those who can get it overseas and lose their bragging rights.
Still, it was only a matter of time before H&M opened in Singapore, we kinda all saw it coming.
Oh my, just went with Joshua today, quite disappointed though, they only have their Play collection in stock, nothing off the runway. May I ask if this is the same for their Guerilla Store at Mount Sophia?
Runway pieces are very expensive (and therefore not included in the pop-up store). You can however find them at Club21′s main store, which also stock the Homme and Shirt lines.
The other one you’re referring to has been scrapped long ago.

Geographically, Hong Kong is part of Southeast Asia so it’s not really their first in the region. But cheers to this development!!

The tees go for SGD160 each, the polo tees are SGD250 a pop. Hope that helps!
