The Louis Vuitton Monogram Revelation Keepall45 in Dark Brown (as seen in the latest Core Values campaign) is more stunning than the previous one that came in Black, but so is the price at EUR3200 (or SGD7300). Then again, it is full leather and will only be made in limited quantities like the former one in Black.
Also, each bag will also have a plague on the inside with the words ‘Every Journey Began In Africa’ inscribed on it. I’m exactly sure if it has arrived in Singapore just yet, so stay tuned for more updates.

I have seen both the Black & current Brown Revelation.
The Black Revelation interior is burgundy-colored which simply exudes luxury.
The Brown Revelation on the other hand, with the same choc-tone inside out, has a more laid back feel.
I do recall an SA in Milan mentioning to me that only 40 pieces were ever made the first time round. Still deciding if I should..

I would have gotten the one in black in a heartbeat had I got the means. It’s black exterior opens up to “reveal” a luscious burgundy interior. On top of that, it’s got an interesting name. What’s not to love?
i heard that the bag is made in africa, the first vuitton item to be made outside of europe.

Actually, I think the charm is made in Africa, not the bag.
There will be 1000 products in total…sold in 120 Louis Vuitton stores around the world…The bags and charms will be sold together.
So far no official word on the actual no. of pieces.

One passenger was using it as a carry-on luggage on my last flight – the Jap women seated nearby actually squealed!
I would have squealed too if he had stuffed it under the passenger seat. Ouch!
Well, Bono was using it as a pillow in the African wilderness so perhaps it’s not that delicate…

I saw in the lookbook details about a month ago and it said that it was a “Permanent” item. Maybe they changed it but triple check before taking the dive.
me got both the brown and black revelation. Both gorgeous. Both bags are made in Italy. Bag charm in africa. I do agree that the black version exudes luxury while the brown is more laid back. I got mine in Mid september. I understand that LV in Ion brought in 3 pieces. Dun know if they still have it. So if U want it, better be fast
A very nice and classy looking bag.
It is not that delicate I use it for gym and carry on as it is black don’t pick up dirt .Only 2 complain the zip is not smooth to open and 45 is bit small for me
I have a normal Keepall and the zip is not smooth as well.
I believe the same goes for most other LV bags.
On the flip side, the zip ‘mechanism’ does have a sturdy feel to it though..
The SA in LV Champs-Elysees mentioned that the bag charm could not be bought separately? It comes together with the bag. How true?
My understanding is that it will only be made available separately late in the year as they are assigning the limited stocks to the Revelation Bag first.
