Bagaholicboy News #168 – Chanel Officially Opens At Marina Bay Sands!
Chanel officially opened her new 6500 sq ft duplex store this morning at Marina Bay Sands and the event was extremely well attended by VIP guests and press from Singapore and around the region.
Designed by renowned architect Peter Marino, highlights of the new boutique include a 16 m facade made up of light-emitting diodes, an exclusive VIP lounge for the rich and the famous and original artwork from the likes of Robert Greene and Federico Uribe.

Split into 2 levels, the Bay (or upper) level will feature RTW looks, bags and accessories (the MBS exclusives are also displayed prominently here) as well as the VIP lounge.

On the Galleria (or lower) level, you can pretty much get everything else Chanel has to offer, including a specially designed area for their watches, as well as another for their fine jewellery collection.
First impressions? The new store feels much brighter and airy, without the feeling of being in tight surrounds like how you’d feel if you were at their store at Ngee Ann City. And without sounding too presumptuous, it looks set to be one of the most visited gems within The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

the whole place looks clean and sleek! nicely done chanel!
It does look a lot more spacious than its Ngee Ann City store!
Went there last Saturday. It’s probably the store with most customers at MBS that day. Most other shops are very quiet.
That’s true, and I believe that is also because Chanel spent more to ensure their new store would different from the one along Orchard Road, unlike the other ‘clones’ at MBS.
