Bagaholicboy Muses #214 – Happy Together
There are two reasons I am doing this post today. Firstly, I secretly mourned when the iPhone4 was launched knowing it meant the end of my Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas iPhone Case. The old case would not fit the new phone, and it was only a matter of time before they (the cases) became obsolete. Secondly, I’d always been a Nokia user since my very first (or was it second) 8250. Even now I have 2 phone lines, one for my iPhone3G and the other for my E71.
When the new Nokia E5 was launched I jumped for joy. This would be a great replacement for my E71, and having received my review set yesterday, I realised it fitted my existing Monogram Canvas case perfectly. Not tight, but snug with a little bit of the phone sticking out.
So folks, you heard read it here first. They do fit, and yes, they are rather handsome together. Now excuse me while I head over to eBay to hunt more cases down in Damier Graphite and Monogramouflage. And in case anyone is wondering, the new iPhone4 does not fit into existing iPhone cases from Louis Vuitton.

i was still lamenting about the loss of use for my case when i changed to iphone 4. hmmm maybe i can give away my graphite case.
that’s always the problem when buying model-specific cases.

really? i tried the colleague’s one and its rather loose! the phone can be ‘fling’ out anytime!
you just need to update both iPhone and case altogether! And people still use NOKIA?
I do. Been using my E71 for the longest time now.
I’m also still holding on to my Nokia E71. With all the new phones being released I haven’t seen a good reason to replace it. My partner has the iPhone 4 and I use my E71 to video chat with him without being tied to wifi. Use it to tether my wifi only iPad when on the go. No need to jailbreak an iPad to do those things.
LOL! I’ve been subject to the majority of Parisians using either iPhone or Blackberry!

been thinking of whether i should be getting a blackberry since i’ve never been a touch-screen phone person (i love pressing buttons), and i think my heart skipped a beat when i saw the nokia E5. and it’s not just because the E5 looks gorgeous in white!
what’s even greater, it’s $0 for most plans at Singtel now. can’t wait to go down and get one soon.
