Celebs And Bags #58 – Miu Miu Vernice Satchel & Pixie Lott
Spotted on English singer-songwriter Pixie Lott recently, the Miu Miu Vernice Satchel from the upcoming Fall-Winter 2010 Womens Miu Miu collection.
Available in coral (as seen on Ms Lott) and in lilac (shown above), the shiny patent leather satchels (which do come with removable shoulder straps by the way) are anchored by the giant turn-lock clasp which is also one of the key characteristics of their F/W10 collection.
Besides bags you’ll also see the same clasp on shoes and even selected apparel pieces. Slated to be released in Singapore (Miu Miu stores are located at ION Orchard and Paragon) come end August 2010, it is expected to retail for SGD2590 apiece. So what do you think guys, is this a yay, or a nay?

like the hardware, not the leather
definitly nay. thumbs up for the idea and design, but the patent leather doesnt help the bag at all. its simply not lush at all (i dare say the leather looks cheap).

It’s way too overpriced, I agree about that. It’s ridiculous! I was excited about this bag until I read the price…and something about the patent leather does not look that pretty to justify the price tag.
nay. MM has done this shape in calf before and it looks much better than this patent leather. also don’t like the way the clasp ‘pulls’ the bag when worn on Ms Lott.

the patent leather makes it look like a bugis bag. bad design flaw… real calf leather would make it look so much classier!
the colour coral is nice. but the bag looks cheap! like something from pasar malam!
