Baggu Backpack
If you’re looking for a backpack that’s simple, well-made and nostalgic then look no further than the Baggu Backpack. Priced at just USD28 each (yes, it’s affordable too), they come in 9 different colours including Nutmeg (shown above). And while it’s simply designed, the way it works is really quite ingenious. You can open or close the bag via its canvas drawstrings, which also double up as the backpack’s shoulder straps.
On the inside there’s an additional slot pocket, which will always come in handy. Size-wise I do think this backpack is more appropriate for ladies or guys with more petite frames, so make sure you check on the actual size before you order (yes they do ship internationally as well).

I went to rockstar @ Cine to check out these bags. They’ve got a solid rugged feel to them. Didn’t manage to fill it up with my laptop etc to see how the shape holds but it will definitely hold the weight. They’re a narrow kind of bag, so don’t expect to fit huge ring files in them. But A4 sits in pretty snugly. The stitching’s done pretty well too I might add. The magnetic button touch on top of the strap was a touch people on the go would very much appreciate.
They only had the RED, FUCHSIA and BLUE left. All other colours were sold out.
The staff was helpful though and suggested that I could leave my name and contact number with them, and they’ll call me when new stocks arrive! That would be approximately in Aug/Sept.
Now it’s just to decide on the colour…. Should I go for Canvas, Nutmeg, or Ocean? oh decisions decisions!

Get the nutmeg. I have the duck back in black and it fits my 15″ macbook pro perfectly and its quite sturdy and strong. Im going to get the duck bag in nutmeg once stocks arrives.
