Burberry Explorer Leather Tote

Having just watched the Spring-Summer 2011 Mens Burberry Prorsum runway show live right here on the blog (click on the huge banner on the right), I am pretty convinced I got the Burberry Explorer Leather Tote in Sage. Available for sale right now (yes, you’re reading it right), it retails for GBP895.

Besides being large and roomy, I love that gradation on the leather which was achieved using vegetable oils which also gives it a deep and rich finish. I’m also a sucker for bags that can be carried more than one way and this gorgeous tote certainly fits the bill. Wear it over the shoulder with the shorter top handle, or across the body with the long shoulder strap.

Another bag that’s more cute than anything else in my books is the Burberry Canvas Explorer Crossbody (like a messenger of sorts). Styled like something you would bring on a safari (and hence the theme of the season Protect, Explore, Inspire) it retails for GBP595.
