Aspinal of London Travel Collection
I’ve always liked the idea of getting myself a complete travel set whenever I ventured overseas. My criteria was simple. I needed a large enough travel wallet (to hold all my travel essentials) and hopefully it came with a matching passport cover as well. Most importantly however was the fact that I was reluctant to spend too much on such a set since I would only be using them only a few times a year.
Having previously heard of Apsinal of London, it’s not a completely new entity to me. A leather goods maker that ranks alongside the likes of Ettinger and Smythson, it is also a fairly new company that specalises in creating classic pieces that’s all about luxury. So when the opportunity came to try out such a set myself (made possible only because of Doorstep Luxury’s kind generosity), I jumped at the chance.
The Aspinal of London Travel Collection comprises a huge travel wallet, a passport cover and 2 luggage tags. And because camel is the colour of the season, I picked the set that comes in that exact same colour. What’s more, the calfskin travel wallet is lined with espresso-coloured suede, a suitably appropriate combination. On the other hand, the passport cover is lined with fine moiré silk which borders on indulgent. Both pieces are also very well-made, so it’s an added bonus that the whole set will only set you back by SGD320.
Affordable? Most definitely.

i really like the travel wallet. very nice.
I’ve seen these a couple yrs back from another blog, maybe bagsnob or baglady…they featured a purple colour one. Very luxe. I really like it!!!
But some things I don’t like buying online as I like to touch and feel it before deciding to buy.

I was rather surprised by the travel set. It looks really similar to Smythson’s!
I was nervous about buying on-line as I too love to touch and feel before I decide… however, they give so much detail I felt confident buying a Manoush purse from Door Step Luxury.
I also bought a necklace that wasn’t quite right and it was so easy to return it, so fuss. An absolute convert to e-shopping now… It’s especially fun receiving the gorgeous package via courier! It felt like Christmas!
