Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Delightful GM
Slated for release in June 2010 is the new Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Delightful GM, which had someone on my Facebook fan page remarking that it looked like a cross between the Galliera and the Artsy. Tentatively priced at USD1100 for the GM (also comes in PM and MM sizes), it is clearly targeted at those who prefer something relaxed and affordable at the same time. The GM is also huge, measuring almost 58 cm across by 32 cm, which also means I’m probably going to give it a try myself just to see how it would look on me.
In fact, the ones in PM and MM are even more affordable (USD760 and USD855 respectively), as due in part to the fact that they do not come with the front pair of zips. On the interior they have the same lining as the Neverfull; striped vertical lines with a zipper pocket; well thought out in my opinion for extra bits and personals.
And if I’m right, this looks set to be another bestseller for Louis Vuitton yet again.

My SA showed this to me last week at the LV store in Honolulu. When you carry it on the shoulder, the bag folds down in the middle/towards the body and in a way “closes”.
This is nice because it can be safer than the Neverfull which is kinda just always open depending on how you wear it. A simple yet interesting design. (FB)

Wow…it is really affordable!! I can’t imagine that is possible in LV…..hahaha
Anyway, this is a very gd alternative for me since i am still struggling whether to get the Neverfull…i am beginning to like this bag now, also partly due to the pricing.

I am happy to see LV having more bags with exterior pockets.Good for quick access of car keys,coin pouch,mobile phone etc.

Quick update guys! In Singapore they will retail for SGD1170 (PM), SGD1310 (MM) and SGD1680 (GM) respectively!
The sample bag just got to my store today. Going tonight to pick size and wait list it!

Hi BB, I got the Delightfull PM in France for only 500Euros (incl VAT), less VAT I think it only cost me around SGD800+. It is already very roomy for the PM version.

I just tracked my bag… it will be here tomorrow. I had the PM, but sold it to get the GM, which I’m loving the exterior zippers. I am so excited! I hope its not too big!
