Louis Vuitton Cosmic Blossom Pareo
If there is one item from the limited edition Louis Vuitton Cosmic Blossom collection (designed by Takashi Murakami himself) that I most definitely want would have to be this; the Louis Vuitton Cosmic Blossom Pareo. Measuring 175 by 55 cm and retailing for SGD540 a pop (M72515), it is similar in size to the other pareo I’ve got, the Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Graffiti Pareo. Honestly I don’t even know why I’m getting it, but I sure do love it.
Another piece in the collection that’s due to be launched today is the Cosmic Blossom Towel. Retailing for SGD1290 (measures 150 cm by 90 cm, M72595), I can’t help but wonder at its asking price.
Yes it’s Louis Vuitton, but it is still a towel at the end of the day.
2 other pieces to be launched today include the bandeau/bandana (55 cm by 55 cm, M725362) and the scarf (70 cm by 70 cm, M72543) which retail for SGD270 and SGD480 respectively. Now wish me luck; I need to go hunt down the pareo.

Picked up my Cosmic Pareo in Bond Street today and love it. Wore it all day and got so many complimentary comments.

Got my cosmic pareo on the Gold Coast in Aus today!!! Love it! Also have the Ipenema Stole and the Monogram Bulles Pareo. They make great scarves for Australia’s climate all year round.
I ordered the pareo which came today. it looks cheap, made of scratchy cotton with freyed edges.
I think that’s exactly why it’s called a pareo dear. It is meant to be more casual and lightweight. If you want something more proper/formal, get the 70 cm by 70 cm scarf instead?
Have the cosmic pareo and don’t find it scratchy at all. I also think with wear it will soften.
