Bagaholicboy Reminisces #15 – Best Of April 2010
April 2010 has been a fabulous month for me… many things have happened (especially in the last 2 weeks alone) and once again, I would like to thank all my readers for all your warmth and support.
May 2010 is going to be really busy. I’ve been commissioned for a huge project which will kick off very soon, but before I spill the beans and say too much, here’s a quick look back at what happened at Bagaholicboy for the month of April.
01. Gucci, Gucci, Gucci. Biggest opening in Singapore to date, with both Gucci CEO Patrizio di Marco and Creative Director Frida Giannini gracing the event (in person) at Gucci Paragon’s spanking new duplex store in the day, followed by a glitzy gala dinner in the evening at Capella Singapore. Frida got her orchid, MILK got a huge donation and everyone went home happy.
02. Another opening of sorts (albeit a soft one), this time at ION Orchard. Who am I talking about? Car Shoe of course! I’ve tried on a pair myself and already I’m pretty convinced it will soon become a firm essential on my must-have list. Don’t believe me? Head on down yourself, look for Mariona and ask to try anything. She rocks, and so does Car Shoe!
03. And since it has been raining so much in Singapore lately, the Burberry April Showers collection was certainly an apt release. Wellies anyone?
04. April is also the month I officially welcomed the House of Dior into the fold. New posts include those on Hong Kong actress Michelle Yeh and her Dior Minaudiere, the old-Hollywood-glamour-meets-Inspector-Gadget inspired S/S10 collection for women, and the immaculately stylish S/S10 collection for men.
05. Save the Earth and look cool while doing it. Introducing the Envirosax Slingsax; made specifically for the men in mind. Which just means one thing. Ladies, your men will no longer have any excuse not to help you out with your groceries.
06. Did a quick preview of the Fall-Winter 2010 Mens Mulberry collection. Loved it then, still loving them now…
07. Reebonz! Reebonz! Reebonz! Prada! Prada! Prada! Nuff said!
08. Had a fabulous time assisting at a fashion editorial shoot and I had many of you drooling all over the Chanel pieces. Yes Chanel. Click here, and here.
09. Miu Miu, Miu Miu, Miu Miu! Nuff said!
10. And last but not least, it’s never a complete month without Louis Vuitton right here on this blog.
