Bagaholicboy News #153 – ‘The Great Night Sale’ At Mandarin Gallery!
With malls all over Singapore pulling out the stops to gain your attention (and dollar) this GSS, it’s no surprise that one has to be even more innovative to draw the crowds. And whilst late-night shopping is not a completely new concept in Singapore, it is heartening to see an entire mall pulling together and getting their tenants in the act even if it is only for one night.
And doing just that this Friday (4 June 2010) is Mandarin Gallery, with their shopping event aptly titled ‘The Great Night Sale’. So what’s so great about this particular night? For starters, sign up at their online site and redeem for yourself SGD40 in vouchers that can be used that very night from 9pm to 12 midnight. No gimmicks, no purchase required, just be the first 1000 to sign up and the vouchers are yours!
It doesn’t end there. 10 lucky shoppers will also each stand to win SGD500 in gift vouchers in a lucky draw to be held that very night.
Besides the lucky draw, Mandarin Gallery is also giving away free popcorn and Coke all night, the perfect snacks whilst going from floor to floor (and shop to shop), picking up bargains along the way. Local fashion bloggers will also be on hand, blogging ‘live’ as well as tweeting up a storm on offers, promotions and happenings from hour to hour.
Besides yours truly, other bloggers that will be there on Friday include those from Ms Glitzy’s Monologue, OneSixtyNotepad, Rock The Trend, Story Of A Dot and Wottoncool. A roving photographer will also be going round the mall all night and snapping you (the shoppers) for Mandarin Gallery’s blog and Facebook fan page.
