Bagaholicboy Muses #197 – What Are You Getting During The Great Singapore Sale?
With the Great Singapore Sale in full swing, many of you have been hitting Orchard Road and hunting down the best bargains. Some of you are even flying in just for the sale, while others are waiting for more brands to start their respective sales.
I’ll be making a list of brands (and their respective discounts) in this particular post and keeping it as updated as I can till the end of the GSS. If there is anything I miss out, feel free to drop me an email or a comment here. Otherwise, do remember to bookmark this post so as not to miss out on any exciting updates.
Also, do tell me what you’re planning to get for a steal this GSS (or perhaps have already gotten).
As for myself, I’ve got only one thing on my mind, and that’s any solid-coloured leather cabas from Celine. At a discount, of course.

nope, classics like coffers and bow satchels will never be on sale.
If it does help, net-a-porter (US site) is having their end of season sale now. And miu miu coffer is on sale at about 1000usd ++

Past season RTW most likely… and maybe a couple of runway bags. Classics will never be on sale.
Actually I am surprised Hermes has any sale. Looking for a belt there but I suppose getting a friend to buy from Paris will still be cheaper. No sales yet from Bottega Veneta, Givenchy, Lanvin, Loewe, Givenchy, Mulberry and YSL!

Car show started their sale last June 12 but the items on sale are really limited. Their loafers aren’t on sale but they do have nice men and women shoes that are on sale.
some of the men’s shoes (Suede low cut booties i think) are going for around SGD 350-400 if I’m not mistaken.

Woah, the tally is climbing (too) fast… I got two shirts and a scarf at Etro today too. Plus some late night online shopping and I’ve just snagged a pair of perforated Prada loafers – many of the major US online luxury stores have gone on sale starting today (Neiman Marcus, Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, Net-A-Porter, Burberry USA)!
And this is only the first week of the GSS season…

regarding smaller int’l fashion brands such as those available at blackjack and club 21 multi-brand men’s stores, are they on sale? what r the discounts like?

Club21 will not be starting their sales as yet, probably end June or early July, depending on which brand you’re keen on.
Dior should have started their sales this week, and as with most brands in Singapore they usually start at the 30% off.
Hi BB, I noticed you never or have not yet touched on products by Cole Haan. Went to their store at ION, their loafers were nice, their sale is not bad too. If you could add it in the list of brands you blog about as well?
