Bagaholicboy Muses #196 – Darcel Does New Bond Street
Darcel (from Darcel Disappoints) ‘visits’ Louis Vuitton’s new Maison at New Bond Street, the experience illustrated in a set of drawings specially commissioned by Nowness, LVMH’s new web platform that ‘showcases the most inspiring stories influencing contemporary arts and global lifestyle’.
Personally I’m just entranced by the illustrations, which feature Murakami’s bags, a whole wall of trunks, LV sunnies and my personal favourite of the moment, the Stephen Sprouse Leopard Stole.
And if you’re in London, don’t forget to check out the new boutique yourself at 17/18 New Bond Street which officially opens her doors to the public today (28 May 2010).
