I honestly thought I was still high on my medication when I chanced upon the Marc by Marc Jacobs BookMarc collection online, which consists of items best described as stationery, including the Marc by Marc Jacobs BookMarc Mini Pencil Set which comes with colour pencils, an eraser and a sharpener. Retailing for USD8 a set, one may question how relevant stationery is to his fashion empire but the way I see it, if you want to conquer the world, you put your name on everything.
And yes, that would include pencils as well.
After all, didn’t he just open a Marc Jacobs café as well in Milan?
Here’s another item from the collection, the Marc by Marc Jacobs BookMarc Tin Case (USD8) which in my opinion is good for hiding all sorts of contraband that kids try to smuggle into school these days.

I would definitely but the tin case, over the colouring pencils. The pencils are like any other except with his name on it! The more pragmatic shoppers will realize that..
The tin case however…. functional and with nice designs. Mmm…
