Gucci: The Opening Party At Paragon
Today was officially the opening cocktail party at Gucci Paragon, which saw the flagship duplex store filled with everyone from high society to press. Besides gathering to celebrate the opening in grand style, guests were also on hand to witness Singapore Tourism Board’s Chief Executive Aw Kah Peng presenting the Paravanda Frida to Creative Director Frida Giannini, a gorgeous orchid hybrid created specially just for her.

Gorgeous corner of random trunk. But a trunk that’s big enough for me to live in, but that’s a post for another day.

But the highlight of the show (for me, at least!) was seeing Oli Pettigrew in the flesh. Strangely he was also the only person I asked for a snapshot. Yes, I’m a big fan.

Oh yes, I did indeed! The specials would have been the Paravanda Frida collection, which included tees and wristlets as well…
