Mulberry Ink Print Bayswater
Mulberry’s latest reinterpretation of their iconic Bayswater features whimsical blue ink scribbles. I’ve spent lots of time staring at the motif, and I think I see birds flying out of a woodland forest complete with wild grasses and meadow bushes.
Still, it’s one of those designs you either hate or love, but given the fact that it’s on a Bayswater may have saved it from being a total disaster. Measuring 36 cm across by 26.5 cm, it comes with 3 interior pockets and a belt strap on the inside that allows you to adjust the bag’s girth. Retailing for GBP695 (or around SGD1475 before shipping), you can now get it online at both Mulberry, or Net-A-Porter.

I quite like it! Except that I’m not too keen on the transition between the ink blotches and the birds.
Meadow bushes dear, meadow bushes!
Actually I kinda like it… makes it harder for knockoffs products.
I assume it’s only available in 1 color?
Yup. Only this colour is available.
it’s a tough one, I can’t make up my mind. I usually prefer simple, classic designs though this one is a whimsical update to a classic piece. could be worth it for those who neither want a statement bag nor something too muted.
Quite interesting!
It actually attracts attention, worth giving it a try…
Hmmm, I’ll get a normal Baywater and get it painted once it’s overly used… how’s that for getting two looks in one bag?
What a ground-breaking reinterpretation of a classic! *rolls eyes*
Mulberry needs to try harder. Paint splashes have been done to death!
really don’t like this version… looks more like pen ink leaking out from the bag!
I think it would have worked better in other colours…
Wow. Groundbreaking.
I was feeling rather ambiguous about this. But after seeing it again, I have to say, I am kind of drawn to it.
