Fall-Winter 2010 Womens Louis Vuitton

Already I’m adoring the Speedy covered with black/grey floral motifs that was presented during the Fall-Winter 2010 Womens Louis Vuitton runway show. Here’s a better look at the Speedy I’ve just mentioned, and on the right, another Speedy done up in fox fur.
The collection in general was more grown-up and mature (and so different from the S/S10 womens collection), which probably explains why it appealed to me in the first place (I am middle-aged after all). Whether it comes with single or double handles, these lovely frame/satchel bags come in a wide variety of finishes which are just absolutely beautiful.
Reminiscent of the 5os doctor bags are these which came down the runway in colours that were soft and muted. Stunning!
And last but not least, brocade clutches with fur-trimmed ‘tails’ that are oh-so-luxurious. They will most probably cost an arm and a leg, but really, there’s no harm admiring from afar is there? More updates to come as the season progresses so stay tuned!

the doctor bags are love!
Yum!
These bags look great! Though most look pretty expensive with the exotics. And I thought the clothes were fantastic too, very feminine and garden party.
Absolutely loved the new collection. So elegant and sophisticated – much better than the Spring/Summer range. Would love it all – if I had the money.
Fox fur on bag looks really stupid!first of all, it doesn’t keep us warm.. and bags need not be kept warm! Complete waste of animal pain… but no doubt, the floral one is lovely indeed….
The whole aesthetic of this collection reminded me of Prada and Dolce & Gabbana a few seasons back, not really a fresh idea…
Great minds think alike?
It may not be fresh, but this collection will definitely sell very very well in my opinion.
Yup the doctor bags remind me of the perforated Prada ones, in terms of colour at least… but it’s nice…
Totally love, love, love it! Especially the flower Speedy and the ‘nude’ coloured doctor bag!!
