Hmmm I’ve a feeling that the Alexa might overtake PS1′s iconic status… I agree mostly for the other bags… Maybe not the peekaboo as yet. Anyone noticed that mostly are rectangular? The most classic shape.

May I firstly say that I like your take on Iconic Bags. Though I appreciate Hermes, I am over some people’s pretentiousness when it comes to fashion/style knowledge.

Just because you can afford it, doesn’t necessarily mean you’re stylish. It’s refreshing to find someone who appreciates Loewe – that’s quite rare nowadays. I guess those who really know… know?

And while many may wonder why the Birkin (Hermès) is missing, it was intentional.

There is no doubt that it’s an icon in its own right, but I did want a list of bags that were also generally more affordable as well.

I agree the fendi peek-a-boo not quite reaching iconic status, perhaps the baguette or even the spy. as for proenza schouler, i think the ps1 has reach iconic status. its been released for a quite a few seasons now and not much has been changed design wise, but its being reinterpreted in a variety of colours for each season. this is generally what happens to iconic pieces for a brand…right? lol

I hardly agree with the Peekaboo (Fendi) and the PS1 (Proenza Schouler) being iconic… it’s way too early to tell… the Baguette from Fendi is more iconic.
