Louis Vuitton Cosmic Blossom Collection
Introducing the Louis Vuitton Cosmic Blossom collection, a guaranteed bestseller as far as Asia is concerned. Adapted from Takashi Murakami’s Cosmic Flower, the collection is made up of fabric/vinyl bags (think Monogram Ipanema) trimmed with patent leather handles in 3 different colours.
As far as I know the totes will come in 2 sizes and their prices are tentatively set at USD1240 and USD1480 respectively for the PM and the GM. The pochette that you see in the 2nd and 4th images will retail for USD550 each. Due for release from April 2010 onwards, I think they’re rather cute but this is one collection that’s definitely more suited for the ladies.
Personally I’m eyeing the colourful scarf (2nd image) myself, but purely from a collector’s point of view. It’s going to look so lovely framed up on my wall, don’t you think?
