Bagaholicboy Muses #165 – Happy Lunar New Year!

We’re just hours away from welcoming the Chinese Lunar New Year, and according to the Chinese Zodiac it’s now Tiger’s turn to rule for a year come midnight. And in keeping with tradition, the Chinese will also be lapping up related bric-a-brac to herald the year, including the Hermès Porcelain Change Tray (SGD2200), hand-painted with a majestic Bengal on the front.

If however you prefer something more fun and casual, check out The Blessing Sign by Swatch, a gents model that’s comes with its own cute little mascot (SGD100). Or do your part and sign a WWF petition with the eventual goal of doubling the number of tigers in the wild by 2022, which is also the next Year of the Tiger.

As for me I’ll be stocking up on loads of my favourite cereal, Kellogg’s Frosties (SGD5.35 at Cold Storage) which features Tony the Tiger, a character we’ve all grown up along with.

Whichever way you prefer to celebrate, have a happy Lunar New Year guys! May you have a prosperous 2010, filled with good health, love and  success! And here’s hoping (with all your support of course) that this blog will enjoy another year of roaring success!
