Bagaholicboy Muses #164 – Boys’ Toys
I was supposed to work on a Valentine’s selection for the guys, but somehow it ended up being all about stuff I didn’t mind getting for myself. I think it is primarily due to the fact that my birthday is just 2 days after Valentine’s, so really I couldn’t really help myself. Still, if it is good enough for me, it is probably good enough for the man of your life as well.
First up, everything from top to toe from the Spring-Summer 2010 Mens Loewe collection. Including that gorgeous pair of dark grey suede boots and Amazona tote.
Next, the YSL Hamptons Overnight Bag in full leather at SGD1980. Another version in parachute nylon is also available at SGD1480. What do I love the most about it? They feature the trademark stitched Y design, along with top zip closure and metal feet for protection.
Like Pringles, you never stop at one once you’ve started on the plaited knot bracelets from Bottega Veneta. Every season it comes out in delicious colours, but since I haven’t got one to my name yet, I’ll start with Black. Check Diabro out for a small selection, or your local Bottega Veneta boutique.
Personally I can’t (and won’t) spend too much on USB drives since they do self-destruct over time. And that also effective rules out the ones from Hermès and Louis Vuitton that I previously had either eye on. From Goldheart comes the Giovanné 4 GB USB Pendant, which also comes with matching bracelet in surgical stainless less. Stylish, functional and affordable at SGD288 for both pieces.
Last but not least, a little piece of luxury that really needs no introduction. The Hermès Losange GM in cotton knit, SGD1000.

hi BB, any suggestions for where I can get a cotton hankerchief for the man in my life? I’ve looked everywhere – and the brands don’t seem to have them in cotton (it’s for like, the pocket, to mop up, mess and spills, not the silk ones to tuck into the side pocket of jacket) – I’ve looked at Burberry, Zegna, Tods, and only found a plain white one at Hermes – but for around S$300 felt it was a bit overpriced – like the one you’re featuring here. thanks!
Firstly, the Hermès Losange is not a hankerchief. It’s a scarf.
Secondly, why does his cotton hankerchiefs need to be branded? Such a waste of good money that can be put towards another bag or SLG. Instead go to any department store and pick up those that come in a box of 3 for S$9.90. Like you’ve said, it is for the cleaning up of spills anyway…

I hv the YSL Hamptons Overnight Bag, its pretty nice but kind of heavy, that’s why i bought another YSL tote bag with the trademark stitched Y design infront, i am totally in love with YSL.
