Uniqlo: ‘From Tokyo To Singapore’ Fashion Show
Tonight was the night when Uniqlo held their fashion show ‘From Tokyo To Singapore’ fashion show at Ritz-Carlton Millenia and boy was it a treat. I wished I had taken more snapshots, but honestly I was too busy enjoying the runway show which had at least 30 models showcasing the best from Uniqlo’s S/S10 collections (I will definitely post some of my favourite looks once I get the official press images).
After that we were transported to 313@Somerset in a convoy of coaches, and as we reached the 17,000 sq ft store everyone made a beeline for the Uniqlo +J collection.

Jackets, shirts, jeans, pants, cardigans for both men and women were flying off the racks as if they were free (though the SGD100 voucher Uniqlo presented to all media and VIP guests did help). Best buy? The gorgeous Uniqlo +J Blazer (shown above) that is retailing for only SGD199. The lush Uniqlo + J Velvet Tuxedo Jacket, only SGD149. Really affordable and so so chic, you really can’t go wrong with a couple of +J pieces in your wardrobe.
More updates to come! And in case you’ve forgotten, Uniqlo 313@Somerset officially opens her doors tomorrow at 10 am, so make sure you head on down before all the best pieces from +J sell out.
One more thing before I sign off. Tonight I was using the Burberry Prorsum Stonewashed Carpenter Bag (from the Spring-Summer 2010 Mens Burberry Prorsum runway collection). Love the bag, just praying now it will not cost an arm and a leg when it officially launches next year.

Can't wait to get my hands on them.
Good that you enjoyed yourselves.
Yeah the blazer is really affordable!
Cheers!
The +J collection for women is really nice too, make sure you get more pieces Karin, great for the working woman's wardrobe.
Yes Ivan it is! Getting one?
May be.
But don't really need to use it that often though.
Will consider haha (=
I will~ Been waiting for it since you last blogged about it. I won't want to miss it.
Btw, I'm a male =X
Oops. Sorry Karin, my bad.
Haha, have you got any price list for the Burberry bags?
Its okie~
Hope the cutting fits me.
yayyy~~ just in time for my shopping trip with thebestfriend next tuesday! =)
sigh. it was too crowded today during lunch hour. queue spread all the way to 'suddenly slender'. the mall is so messy as well.
Yeah, readers who emailed me all told me they queue for an hour or more, but for +J it is worth it.
'Suddenly Slender', funny name for a slimming salon if you ask me.
I reached there at 11am, managed to get in without queuing. Went straight to the +J corner, the rest can wait. At that time, sizes are already running low. Got myself 5 items, queued 1hr 15mins for the cashier, but still worth it
Congrats Shirley!
