Spring-Summer 2010 Womens/Mens Louis Vuitton Press Presentation
Honestly I don’t know where to begin, I’m still reeling from the fact that I’ve attended the Spring-Summer 2010 Womens/Mens Louis Vuitton press presentation today. After almost 526 posts on Louis Vuitton (out of 1955 posts to date), I get my first official press invite which is a really really big deal for me.
To kick things off, there was a quick presentation by Louis Vuitton’s PR director for Asia Pacific, Dinesh Kandiah, who explained this season’s key looks with the help of some really gorgeous models. Most other presentations don’t go into so much detail, and being so meticulous certainly helps. At least for me I actually understand now what Marc Jacobs was trying to convey in his collections.
After that, we had the opportunity to mingle amongst all of S/S10’s best. I felt like a kid in a candy shop, drooling and wondering what I wanted (or could actually afford) from both collections. I also had the chance to take many snapshots, so as soon as I get everything sorted I will start doing the individual posts.
It’s going to be an all-Vuitton weekend for sure so hang in there! And if there is anything in particular you want me to start on first, make sure you leave a comment (or two) here!
