Featuring model Lara Stone and shot by Steven Miesel, the Spring-Summer 2010 Womens Louis Vuitton ad campaign signals the end of Madonna (for now) and turns the spotlight back on models. Channeling Brigitte Bardot, the ads are set against lush greenery and white doves.
More importantly, I spotted the bag featured above at today’s press presentation, and boy is it gorgeous! Large and roomy, it features a regular Monogram Canvas body topped off with a single vachetta handle that’s partially braided. Available in GM and MM sizes, this one is going to be flying off the shelves for sure.
Here’s another that I like, which looks like a Noe-Speedy hybrid (Noe body, Speedy handles). As an added bonus it even comes with its own removable shoulder strap, useful for situations when you need to be hands free. Will it be a hit? Most definitely!
Last but not least, here’s a quick look at the other bag used in the ad campaign.
From the Monogram Cheche collection comes the Louis Vuitton Monogram Cheche Bohemian, a soft jacquard bag highlighted with gold lurex and fluorescent threads that you either love or hate. Personally I’m still lukewarm on this one, since I still prefer the bags in dégradé Monogram Denim (in pink, blue and orange) but more on those later…
