furla_ss10-womens1Big is beautiful for everything Furla next season, judging from the Spring-Summer 2010 Womens Furla press kit that just landed on my table. Take the Furla Corniola (shown above) for example. Measuring 40 cm by 32 cm, it’s one of those hold-all type bags that you can put half your wardrobe in. And no, it is not really python, but python-printed calf leather which makes it way more affordable.

furla_ss10-womens3While Furla does make bags for men, they are still a long way off till achieving greatness. Next season’s offerings include rip-offs (in polite speak; similar looking) from Tod’s and Prada. So while I decided not to post anything from the mens collection here, I do feel the one shown above, the Furla Ametista from the womens collection is worthy of being a manbag. It’s big (40 cm by 38 cm), in nappa leather and the colour (Cobalt Blue) is just gorgeous.

I’m so checking this one out as soon as it launches next year.
