Uniqlo +J Blazer
Honestly I have been fretting about to wear to Burberry’s grand opening party (hosted by none other than Christopher Bailey) tomorrow night at ION Orchard. I knew I wanted something from the Uniqlo +J collection, but getting it in Singapore now is impossible, the collection does not launch here till 3 December 2009.
That was till of course one of my readers contacted me on Facebook; she would be in Tokyo over the weekend and would try getting it for me. After some fervent SMSes back and forth, she got it and I am now the proud owner of the Uniqlo +J Blazer in Navy. And though it retails for only Y12,900, I am very impressed with its quality and workmanship; considering the fact that I wasn’t expecting too much in the first place.
And now I have something proper for tomorrow night’s big party. Blessed? Indeed. And thanks again to both Denise and Sidney for going out of your way and making my wish a reality. Thank you!
Now I really can’t wait till the entire collection launches in Singapore. Trust me guys, this is one collaboration you won’t want to miss!
