Spring-Summer 2010 Mens Christian Louboutin

November 11, 2009

I had the privilege of attending the press preview of the soon-to-be-released Spring-Summer 2010 Womens/Mens Christian Louboutin collection today and while not everything caught my eye, some pieces from the mens collection clearly stood out (more on the womens collection tomorrow). Buoyed by the success of the Rollerboy (every single last pair was sold out in Singapore), the Louis returns next season all studded and pimped up.

My jaw dropped when I spotted it, and the PR rep’s voice began to fade out as my mind started to focus on the shoe. I was caressing the studs, running my fingers up and down and enjoying what little time we had alone. In a word; gorgeous.

There is also one in White though I don’t think it will be available in Singapore. Nice, but I am still preferring the one in Black.

But if that is too ‘street’ for your liking, then check out the Christian Louboutin Freddy Flat, which I’m pretty sure will be another bestseller. Honestly, what’s not to love? Especially when it comes with such a pretty red sole. Prices and release dates to come; stay tuned…

UPDATE: The prices are in! The Christian Louboutin Louis Spikes will retail for SGD1650 a pair, while the Christian Louboutin Freddy Flats are SGD2500 a pair. And if you are keen on them, best thing you can do now is to leave your name and number with their boutique’s staff at Ngee Ann City.
