Loewe Ruched Napa Hobo

November 1, 2009

Stunning isn’t it? Personally I think it is divine, even if it does cost SGD2890. The Loewe Ruched Napa Hobo, which apparently uses only Napa 7000 leather (referring to the thickness, which must be 0.7 cm). And that’s not all the trivia I’ve got. Out of an average every 1000 lamb skin leathers, only 3 will meet quality requirements of the Napa 7000.

Napa 7000 or not, this is one gorgeous beauty, simple and elegant with only the slightest hint of embellishments. Preferring to let the supple leather do all the talking, Stuart Vevers kept everything to a bare minimum and instead chooses to focus on the leather; the fold, the softness, the elasticity and the ruched gathering.

Love? Indeed… but more importantly, what do you think? And if you think the one in Black above is gorgeous, wait till you see the one in Gunmetal Silver. I die…

divine indeed, no better word to describe. i wanna see the quality of this in real life. 3 in 1000 is no joke! loewe is known for their leather so it makes sense they are so picky.

I think I like this more than the Miu Miu Coffer.

Funny how after reading this entry I saw a nappa leather sample lying around on my colleague's desk. Lol. Not 7000 of course!
