Holiday 2009 Womens/Mens Loewe
Loewe celebrates the holidays with window displays and decorations designed by artist Rachel Thomas, who took inspiration from traditional children’s pop-up books. Using only black paper because it suggests a feeling of sensuality and luxury that Loewe embodies, it is topped off with metallic silver details to provide contrast. It does provide a stunning background for Loewe’s purses, wallets and SLGs doesn’t it?
One of the two large-scale scenes include ‘Winter Wonderland’, filled with snow-capped mountains, a carousel and a prancing reindeer which I am so going to steal.
And the other scene? ‘Ice Skating’, which depicts a frozen pond and paper ice skating boots specially created for window displays targetted at men. In Singapore, expect these lovely cut-outs displays to start appearing at Ngee Ann City and Isetan Scotts soon.
