Bagaholicboy Muses #143 – Oh. My. God.
It all started with a direct message via Twitter from Mark (of Freshmess fame).
Mark: ‘Something in the Prada: The Book will blow your mind! Oh. My. God.’
Me: ‘Really? What what? I haven’t had time to read it through once over yet…’
Mark: ‘I really want you to find out for yourself. But if you really really really want to know…’
Me: ‘Yes please! I’m stuck at work now, book is at home, and I’m dying here!’
Cue crickets…
Mark: ‘Hey, just got out of a meeting. When you reach home, turn your book to page 525 and 526. Your blog is referenced for a comment they printed.’
I’m still in shock… one of 35 websites/blogs listed, and I think the only one from Singapore. It does not mention the blog per se, or who I am, but it references a post I did in April 2009 and in particular a comment left by an anonymous poster.
‘Prada’s saucily nonchalant and intellectual take on must haves for these difficult times… I am so loving it!’

this definitely shows that Prada CARES about what people think about their designs. i believe she is true to her mission in providing luxury goods – taking feedback positively and listening to the 'ground'.
all that being said, congrats to being one of the rarest few to make it to Prada's archives! this truly reflects the credence of your blog, and the industry's acknowledgment of your contributions to their sales!
