Bagaholicboy Muses #142 – Sampling Serendipity

November 21, 2009   |   9 Comments

I’m at a top secret location now in Singapore, in S/S10 sample heaven as I type this. I was not even supposed to be here, just stumbled upon an opportunity to assist in a fashion shoot for a magazine that’s published in Hong Kong.

Here, I’m surrounded by Prada’s flowery frocks from their Cruise 2010 Womens Prada collection, fancy jewellery from Louis Vuitton, giant bangles from Loewe, tweed jackets and skirts from Chanel, lace dresses from Dolce & Gabbana, it just goes on and on.

I don’t even know what the exact name is, but I’m loving this ring (hoop earrings in the background) from Louis Vuitton. And ask to see the bracelet from the same range if you’re ever at the boutique, it is so darn pretty!

Agendas anyone?

More Vuitton, in the form of the Monogram Inclusion accessories, including bracelets and a ring. I watched them liven up any sombre outfit they were matched with, so these are definitely a must-have for any wardrobe.

Not the full-size Miu Miu Stage Bag, but the pochette; a smaller more petite version. The clasp opens to reveal two slots with just enough space for the bare essentials. Definitely an evening bag. I even tested the sling, it’s pretty strong even though it looks so fragile.

Fendi, Fendi, Fendi. This Baguette is very similar to ones Mr Lagerfeld did for Chanel, woven straw with yarn embroidery in the form of flowers and leaves. It’s not totally ugly, just not very pretty either. You either love it or you don’t.

Shoes. Not a personal priority for me as far as designer ones are concerned, but this pair from the Spring-Summer 2010 Mens Prada collection is to-die-for! It works with or without socks, and I love love love the little cut-outs. It’s officially right on the top of my newly created shoe wish list.

And yes, I even got to try on this trenchcoat (also from Prada) today, and honestly, I think it looks even better on me.
