Update – Spring-Summer 2010 Womens Mulberry

Amidst the strains of Air’s Playground Love the carnival started, a parade of Mulberry’s best set amongst carousel horses, pastel balloons and the splendous setting that was Claridge’s. Yes, it was the much-anticipated Spring-Summer 2010 Womens Mulberry press presentation that I was invited to for London Fashion Week, and a really big deal for me.
The room were filled with press, and I spotted journalists from Apple Daily and Grazia. I’m pretty sure there were many more, but seriously I was more awestruck (and in a daze) than anything else.
On the bag front, there are many new collections that will definitely find favour with most of you; including the Alexa, Hayden, Leah, Tamara, Drew and Beatrice collections.
Other ‘oldies but goodies’ in the lineup as well included a quilted wash denim Bayswater with scalloped leather sides (shown above), the Daria with long leather fringes and the Mitzy in metallic python.
And for those with dogs, Mulberry introduced a collection just for them too, including doggy tees, raincoats, leashes and collars which were simply adorable on the models they had in the show (2 Pugs to be exact).
