Jack Spade Soft Nylon Work Tote

August 29, 2009

Just a quick update for fans of Jack Spade in Singapore. A new shipment has arrived on our shores, and are now available within Kate Spade in Raffles City Shopping Centre. I was just there last night, and I’m glad that they are devoting more retail space to display merchandise from Jack Spade.

Still I do hope we will have our very own stand-alone Jack Spade boutique one day. And when that happens, the retail prices of Jack Spade here would also come down a little. No it isn’t very expensive now, but I do hope it could be a tad lower. Take the Jack Spade Soft Nylon Work Tote (shown above) for example. Priced at SGD370, it’s a tad too much in my opinion, given the fact that the design is rather simple. What do you think? Yay? Or nay?

i think it's nice and actually quite manly for a tote, but jack spade is quite overpriced in singapore. i love their stuff and also hoping they will have a dedicated store in sg one day.

Yes Alwyn, it could be cheaper here don't you think?

Quite exp in my opinion as its canvas. Also design is simple.. nice though..

  • Alwyn says:

yeah….esp since you mentioned in your previous post that the bag retails for USD 195, which translates to about SGD 280+. So it's selling for quite a premium in raffles city…

I think Jack Spade is way over-priced in Singapore! So nay. Buy it somewhere else!

actually i went to take a look…and it's not that nice. the material looks not quite worth it. still prefer the Jack Spade Crown Twill Swiss Brief with Flap that you featured in a previous post.
